Tamara Mellon: I love my baby-blue booties

The star is the chief creative officer and founder of high-end footwear label Jimmy Choo, and is fiercely proud of all she has accomplished with the brand.
She always wears shoes she has created herself, explaining the only time she doesn’t is when she has to be comfortable while travelling.
“I can’t travel without Ugg boots UGG 1875UGG 5733 UGG Bailey Button Krinkle. Other than Choos, Uggs are the only footwear I own,” she explained to the UK edition of Elle magazine. “I’ve just created a capsule range capturing the best of both brands.”
Tamara knew the brand was destined for good things when it was first featured on hit US television series Sex and the City. The show’s style guru Carrie Bradshaw, played by actress Sarah Jessica Parker, was a huge fan of the footwear, and Tamara was bowled over when the character first referred to them on camera.
Tamara has always loved footwear, citing a childhood pair of boots as being particularly important to her. “The most special pair I own would have to be my baby-blue booties,”fashion shoes box she said. “My first pair of shoes which I hold on to as a keepsake.”
